A brief Explanation of the Concept:
Externally, a particular item looks like any other piece of memorabilia that may be hanging on a wall until the visual display unit is activated, bringing a more advanced ‘feel’ and understanding of those who are represented in the picture frame. Using a remote control, the visual and audio display is activated when a sliding door opens from within the body of the picture frame.
Most traditional memorabilia comes with a plaque that details important information relative to the picture display. This concept still allows for that facility, but the plaque plays a more pivotal role in that the sliding door component is actually disguised as the plaque. This means that the piece of memorabilia is not compromised in terms of its ‘still’ appearance, as the technology utilises the plaque to create the visual and audio display. In simple terms it protects conventional memorabilia as we know it, and at the same time allows for the evolution of how sports media is presented, the like of which has never been seen before.
